Eloise turned 6mo so we got a babysitter and headed out to dinner without her. so sad. It was actually a wonderful evening. Alan took me to the most adorable, quaint little french restaurant called Le Tastevin on the Ile St. Louis to celebrate our "2eme anniversaire de mariage." The food was absolutely delicious and the service was the friendliest we've ever experienced in Paris. The woman that owned the place/served us told us a story about a significant woman in French history named Heloise that lived in the 1100s. She even gaves us her notes on the subject that she had researched while we were eating. I am always very impressed with how well the Frenchies know their history, authors, artists etc.
