eloise's big news!

If you can't make out the words on her shirt, there's a little more help below.......

Yep! You guessed it.....I'm 12 1/2 weeks along and doing great. We had a doctor's appointment this morning and eloise demonstrated her first event of sibling rivalry. The doctor was handing the ultrasound picture to Alan (who was holding eloise) and she grabbed it right out of the doctor's hand and crumpled it up.

Baby #2 is due March 4th, which will put exactly 18 months between the two. We're thrilled and grateful for God's blessings!

my little pup

She might really think she's a dog!! Eloise loves to put this toy in her mouth and crawl around the house. Every couple of yards she stops and hangs her tongue way out of her mouth and starts panting and then cracking up. She also immediately echos whenever the neighbor's dog barks. Apparently, we need to get out of the house more often and around some other KIDS!

locks of love

Finally, back to my old self. I had 10 inches cut off and donated it for to Locks of love. It's so great!

Will her fame ever end??

Here is a link to New York Magazine that has an article about President Obama's publicity. A friend of Alan's sister noticed the tiny picture of Eloise and the President. We ran right out to Borders and bought a couple of copies of the magazine for her scrapbook. Eloise is scheduled to be at Borders this weekend signing autographs for all that are interested.

Re-Onion 2009 Emerald Isle

Alan's extended family on his Dad's side gathers at the beach every couple of years for a family reunion. We had a fun and relaxing time and Eloise loved getting to know her cousins. Although she's a cutie, this little one did not care for the beach very much!

Eloise and Aunt Kay

As a joke Alan's Aunt Page made this t-shirt of 'eloise in Paris' for Grandpa. We all know that he's a closet Obama fan anyways.

One of the beach houses had a pool where we all spent hours and hours. Can we go back yet?? It was such a wonderful week and we miss everyone already!

Hagle Staycation

Our plans for a week at the beach fell through, so we planned different in-town events for our "staycation." Unfortunately, I only brought my camera with me on this one day (and Uncle Jeff wasn't even there). We kayaked down the Chattahoochee and picniced along the river for Pop's 60th, we went to a local market to listen to some bluegrass music, we played laser tag, hit the pool, and hiked up to see some waterfalls in North Georgia (see pictures below).
