We had a fun little brunch after church today to celebrate. Laurel was thrilled with all the attention and loved the cake. Alan and I really cannot even believe that she's one already!?! She is such an incredibly sweet and easy baby. Such a joy in our lives!

This is the face that she gives all strangers that say 'hello'-except with her nose squished up a bit more. They all love it and comment to me about her nose.

sorry we missed hearing the birthday girl on her big day. we tried and lines were busy... and now we are far away w/o good phone service... missing you all!
