Alan surprised me with a cruise. I had absolutely no clue!! We got to spend 1 day in Savannah on our way down to Jacksonville to the boat. It was a gorgeous sunny 70 degree December day. Beautiful little town!
Of course, Alan hammed it up on stage
we stopped in Nassau and headed away from the crowds. The bus driver caught our drift that wanted to get away from tourist areas and dropped us at a very sweet and quaint resort. We walked along a fairly deserted beach and came across this gentleman taking a short break from work for some coconut juice. I asked him if he'd cut us one open too.
Lots of reading, napping, tea and amazing quality time. Thank you so much Claire for the voucher and My mom for holding down the fort while we were gone!!!
We made it back just in time for Eloise's School holiday performance
Thanks also to Brian and Dawn that kept the girls for a night while we were away. They performed their own Nativity play with their cousins and friends (see below)
