The Big Sis

The proud big sister is doing great! Eloise's first trip to see Margot was a little rocky, but the next day went MUCH smoother. Her Auntie Dawn gave her a new baby doll with all the needed babydoll gear including handmade bedding. Grandma says that Eloise is becoming quite the little 'mommy' and playing with the baby much of the day. She's even asking grandma to put bibs on the baby and then putting her in her own high chair. Thanks so much Dawn and Grandma!

Since Eloise is so into hats, she and grandma made this special farm animal hat. What a cutie!

Welcome Margot!

Margot McCauley was born February 25th at 1:03
7lbs 11oz and 19 3/4 inches
We love you Margot!

Snow in Atlanta!

She was mesmerized by the snow but didn't really like walking in it. Each time that snow accumulated on her boot she had to squat down and wipe it off. We finally made it the 500 yards to the coffee house just shy of turning into popsicles

We're really into hats lately

Eloise is very particular about hats and shoes lately. She actually loves to wear both and prefers that everyone else does, too. I love to be barefoot, but Eloise continually brings me my shoes and insists that I put them on. Hats too! Here are a few (ok, a lot) of shots of her over the past week with her favorite hats.

Thanks for this doggie hat, Auntie Kay & co. Eloise often wears this while playing around the house. I chuckle at her because it looks like she's wearing a pink helmet

I promise she can breathe....This is one her all time favorites. The container for a felt bowling pin set. I think she looks like an astronaut.

She always chooses to put this one on backwards...I guess it's easier.

We were checking out the new (hand-me-down-thanks amanda!) double stroller. Eloise has enjoyed climbing through every contraption for the new baby....15 days to go!

even lego boxes can function as hats!

doesn't everyone (dog) need a supervisor while eating dinner?

sidewalk chalk

Forgot to post these...

Just after Christmas, my best friend from high school,Amy, and her family stopped in Atlanta to visit for a few days on their way to Florida. Here is Amy and her new little princess. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of all her fellas. The weather was too cold to play outside, so along with my sister-in-law and mom, we took the 8 kids to Monkey Joe's (an indoor bouncy place). I had no clue if Eloise would be big enough to really have fun....no need to tell you, the pictures speak for themselves.

Thanks for the lift, Auntie Dawn! I did eventually take my turn down the slide with eloise too. I'm sure it was a sight with the big belly (basically, I'm willing to do anything to get labor started)!

the girl was definitely rockin' it.....and then promptly passed out in her car seat on the drive home.
We just brought the entire seat inside (since we were in the Cassedy's car anyways). See below. She stayed asleep like that for another half of an hour at least.
