Eloise's 1st trip to the Zoo

I don't have time to put any comentary, but Eloise was thrilled and totally in love with all the animals (and with Mom and Dad's full attention since Margot stayed home with Grandma). Enjoy!

Helping out in the kitchen

Alan asked a handful of times why we weren't putting locks on ALL the kitchen cabinets. I said, "they" say you should leave one cabinet for the kid to explore.....I'm pretty sure this is one where the books are wrong and just trying to slip one in to drive the parents crazy!! At least Eloise is wearing her cooking apron =)

I love my boots!

Eloise is so in love with shoes and boots that she often wears them to bed at night and for naps lately. This picture is just after she woke up and had her diaper changed, but she refused to a. take her pjs off and get dressed and b. put her pjs back on the bottom half. Just lovely, isn't she?

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebration! After church, we went to Grandma and Pop's house with the rest of my family for hunting eggs, playing in the really warm sunshine, eating dinner and bunny cake.

5 1/2 weeks!

We had to sing the "clean up" song to get Eloise to pick up the eggs and put them in her basket. She finally caught on after her 4th egg hunt.

it's been a slow adjustment...

So far, Eloise only likes to say, "baby" and "gargo" when she hears Margo squeaking or crying and she likes to point our her nose and tete (head in french). That's the extent of it! Eloise gave us a swift "no no" and jumped off the couch when we tried to place Margot on her lap for a photo. However, the past couple of days Eloise has started playing the big sister roll a bit more.
