oh, pardon me...

We're currently sitting on the couch watching Cindrella (Eloise's all-time favorite). Just as Prince Charming is watching Cinderella enter the ball...
Me: Look, there is Prince Charming
Eloise: No, he's not
Me: Oh really, then who is he?
Eloise: His name is Highness

Part of the family

Meeting some of her cousins

What a natural lil' mama. Emma can't wait to feed Laurel a bottle.

doing the dirty work!

Margot is OBSESSED with chap stick aka "Make Ups." She carries it around constantly and applies it about 100 times a day.

Sister bonding: Margot is very into the babies at church and our friends' little ones. So far, she seems to be in love with Laurel. I'm sure the other side of the story will surface soon.

I can't believe what a big kid Margot is!!!
Eloise is very excited too and always sure that Laurel has her things (blankets, binki, lovey etc)

We had a rockin' SuperBowl party at the hospital...the girls enjoyed the bed

Welcome, Laurel Frances!

Hi everyone!

We're excited to announce the arrival of Laurel Frances, born at 1:19 am today. She weighs 7lbs 4oz and is 20.5 inches long.

Laurel is named after her Great Aunt on her mom's side (also Beth's middle name). Frances is her Great Grandmother's name on her dad's side.

Thanks so much for all your prayers and support.

Love,

Beth, Alan, Eloise and Margot

Farewell My Sweet Old Girl

We had to say goodbye to our wonderful girl today. At almost 14 years old, she was such a blessing and companion in my life for nearly 10 1/2 years. We're really sad and miss her so dearly.

During the girls' naps today, Logan and I had some doggie s'mores (if you will): Hershey kisses, mini marshmallows and dog bones. For this picture, I was holding a marshmallow on my forehead.

This next video is a repeat, but such a good one!

Muellers came to Hotlanta

The Muellers, our dear friends from Paris, came through Atlanta for a few days and it was such a treat!!! Our kids are exactly the same ages and really loved playing together.

Working on our Advent ornaments. I downloaded an ebook called "Truth in the Tinsel" that gave us a wonderful way to daily engage in the Advent season and learn to wait and prepare for Christ's birth. On another note, Alan had just arrived home the same day from Mali. He brought us wonderful treats...dresses for the girls and a baguette and my favorite french bakery treat from Paris (he had a 8 hour layover there).

These are our homemade ornaments that we made daily with stuff from around the house

Decorating cookies....yummy!

Playing beauty parlor with the princesses while the little ones napped.

All dressed up, must have a tea party. All princesses were invited.

These girls could sit here playing for hours... two peas in a pod, if only we could live closer to each other.
Going 3 for 3 together, Sarah is due in just 3 days. I can't even imagine what the house will be like the next time we get together....6 kids 3 and under!! Apparently I didn't take any pictures of the Dads....they were there the whole time and even took all the kids for some outings to give Sarah and I some much needed time chatting over cups of tea.

Here's a sampling of the madness, I mean fun...
