Margot is 3!

Happy Birthday to our little escargot! We had a bug party so that we could eat dirt and worms. Despite the bows and pink sweater, this one is quite the tom-boy. First she wanted a spider man party but was thrilled just to receive a spider man as a gift from Eloise and named it her favorite gift. She adored all the other loot too and had packed it all up in a new suitcase and wheeled it around all day, peaking at it periodically.

All the incredible decorations are compliments of the party planning queen-Grandma Hagle. Thanks, it was great!!

Holding up her #3, she's been practicing for weeks

Happy 1st Birthday Laurel!

We had a fun little brunch after church today to celebrate. Laurel was thrilled with all the attention and loved the cake. Alan and I really cannot even believe that she's one already!?! She is such an incredibly sweet and easy baby. Such a joy in our lives!
Our cups runneth over.

Clapping along while we sang to her also while swaying to the tune

This is the face that she gives all strangers that say 'hello'-except with her nose squished up a bit more. They all love it and comment to me about her nose.

Daddy Daughter Date Night

Chick Fil A hosts a Daddy Daughter Date night. Alan took a few of his ladies out along with a friend, Dave, and his daughter.

Christmas 2012

Sorry, this is so late.....here is a quick recap of December. We went to an incredible live nativity with family and some friends. Margot still asks to talk about "Back to Bethlehem" each night as we tuck her in.

Eloise was in the Christmas pageant at our church. She was a horse and distraught that she didn't get picked to be Mary. Here she is pictured with a friend from church that looks very much like her. Both set of parents have confused the girls multiple times.

Margot is quite the little "mama" these days and very dedicated to her role of keeping Laurel in line.

Disney World

While we were in Florida Alan's parents kept Laurel and we had a super fun day at the park with the big girls. Our two little Minnie's were most excited about meeting all the princess and other characters. By 4pm we were almost too exhausted to stay, but we ate and early dinner and caught a second wind to stay ride the tea cups a few more times and catch the fireworks show.
We couldn't have ask for a more beautiful day. This picture looks like a postcard (except the crane on the right)

This one got a much needed nap during the parade while we ate funnel cakes...sooooo delicious, but then you remember why you only eat those once every 3 years or so!
The photographer was too chicken to ride the teacups. We ladies, however, could NOT get enough. The girls loved going as fast as possible and poor little Margot couldn't hold her self down as she whipped around the seats.
another little nap on our 2nd or 3rd trip through "It's a Small World." This was Margot's favorite ride and fortunately (since it's such a thriller) didn't have such long lines.
